Five years ago this week (back then under our old company name), we grabbed our laptops and worked from home for the first time. Corona was the catalyst. Shortly after, the lockdown came and forced us to work at kitchen and living room tables for a long time. None of us had a well-equipped home office at the time.
What started as an emergency solution became a new way of working over the years. Today, remote working is an integral part of Excelsea. Our teams now work together across borders. As a result, we are more flexible, diverse and broad-based than ever before. And the fact that everyone has a well-equipped workplace is now a matter of course.
This development shows us that sometimes a crisis can lead to something good. It’s what you make of it.
