During our team days in June, we visited orca brau in Nuremberg and learned from brewery founder Felix vom Endt one thing: really good beer is often created by mixing ingredients that don’t seem to go together at first glance. The end result is something unique. We had to smile quite a bit. Because that describes pretty well how we develop our software.
And that brings us to a little secret that we’re just going to spill: every one of our software components is named after a type of hop. What started as a fun team tradition has grown into a full “hopology.” Like every hop sort, each of our components has its own character – some shine on their own, others are best when blended.
So it is certain, that good software and good beer have one thing in common: you need the right ingredients and a team that puts its heart and humor into its work.
By the way, we are currently working on our latest creation. We can already reveal this much: It will be a solution for the recruitment market, combining a variety of unique hop sorts – sorry software components.
